The outfits are gifts for two friends in theCUSKI BABY COMFORTER I was discussing with a new mum at childcare centre how I found when my daughter was a baby it was hard to put her down to go for a sleep. She always wanted to be snuggled with me until I worked out that if I lay her down on an old T-shirt of mine that I had not washed since I last wore it she went to sleep better and seemed to sleep for longer. It was like she was fooled into thinking I was still there with her. They then told me about the Cuski they had seen on your website. I myself have been lucky to have had 3 healthy full term bubs and am halfway through my pregnancy with baby no. 4 so I know how much a new parent wants to dress their babies up nicely. We are giving them an outfit for now and some gorgeous 'ballet socks' for her to grow into. Angela I came across the website, while looking for information on my assignment for CERTIFICATE 3 in Child Studies, on Child Development and what can be offered for the child. The website caught my attention because the child I'm studying is over 10 weeks prem or 30 week gestation.It was also touching to read the parents stories because my twin nieces were born 30 week gestation period in April 2006 at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. 1 stopped breathing at 39 week gestation period, so both had to be admitted back to Flinders and now doing well. I myself lost triplets nearly 3 years ago at 24 weeks and 2 days, they survived for 15, 21 and 24 days before they needed to go to heaven and it has been such a significant help/addition to my healing process that I'm certain is going to be forever. thank you so much for your amazing website and dedication to your surviving Butterfly Princess. It is so obvious how much you love and care for your whole family and how grateful you are to be truly blessed with all three of them (Husband, Son and Daughter). We have been blessed 1 year and 2 weeks ago with a beautiful Daughter Celeste who brings much joy to our life everyday which we are hoping to add to. Fiona & Family ~ What a beautiful family you have ~ your daughter is clearly a living miracle, and your love for her has kept her strong. I looked at the pictures in your video and all sorts of memories came flooding back, 10 years ago my niece was born @ 28.5 weeks gestation, and weighed 2lbs. 9 oz. Jensen spent 96 days in the NICU, and she truly is OUR living miracle.....she has never had any physical or developmental obstacles to overcome ~ she truly was 1 in a million. She is now a very active, bright and beautiful 10 year old hockey player, and she is definitely a force to be reckoned w/ between the goal posts. Thank you for sharing your daughter and her journey....it's amazing....God Bless all of you, and continued health & success to Miss Airlie Fae!!! I will definitely pass this information onto my brother and sister-in-law. I'm a single first time Mum to a very little daughter - Elora was born at 24+3 weeks weighing 319 grams. She's now 4 months old and up to a whopping great 1.8kgs. Am hoping to be home for Christmas, but could be for her 1st birthday instead.....will wait and see. Hi Fiona, just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that we think your site is absolutely fantastic. I had a good cry reading all of the birth stories, and it made our hearts melt to see the photos of the brave little ones now 'all grown up'. The strength of the families is amazing having to go through both the best and worst times of their lives all at the same time! You are an inspiration and your site will offer great support and do great things for parents going through these same hard times.
